Macy was so excited about Santa Claus this year or at least seeing pictures of him or seeing commercials with him in it, but it was a different story when we took the girls to see him "live".
The girls were'nt too thrilled to sit on his lap as you can tell from their faces in the picture. HA We did get one good pic of the girls with no tears..no smiles either! :) (sorry my pics are out of order)
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? I use both, but mostly wrapping paper.
2. Real tree or Artificial? Artificial..I think they are prettier and the branches can hold up the heavy ornaments better!
3. When do you put up the tree? anytime after Thanksgiving
4. When do you take the tree down? Depends on my mood...I've taken it down day or two after Christmas and I've even waited to take it down after the New Year.
5. Do you like eggnog? No...actually I don't think I've ever tried it.
6. Favorite gift received as a child? probably a cabbage patch doll
7. Hardest person to buy for? my dad
8. Easiest person to buy for? ME!! HA HA
9. Do you have a nativity scene? No

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? anytime after Thanksgiving

16. Lights on the tree? yes clear lights

18.Travel at Christmas or stay home? All of our families live in the same town so we do not have to travel far
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's? Yes
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? my tree touches the ceiling so I don't have anything on top
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Christmas parties for us start the Saturday before Christmas so we pretty much open gifts all week long!
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? Rush Rush Rush

24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? I love to eat so it does'nt matter

Brick started going up on our house middle of November and is now completely finished along with the rock. Finished pictures to come soon! :)
The girls were invited to a birthday party at the new Big Ben's in Vilonia. They had lots of fun riding the train, carousel and going thru the maze.

~Halloween 2009~
For Halloween Macy dressed us a Little Bo Peep and Mya was her sheep aka lamb. They enjoyed trick or treating at Nana and Papa's (my mom and dad) and Nanny and Pa's (Shane's mom and dad). After filling their baskets with waaayyy to much candy we headed to our church for Octoberfest where the kids enjoyed a hayride, decorating pumpkins, cake walk and trunk or treating.
My computer has had a virus. :( It's been in the shop getting lots of TLC and is now back up and running. Hoping to have some new posts up with pictures of Halloween and some updated pictures of our house progress in the next day or two. Hope everyone is having a great week and has got to enjoy the beautiful weather we have been having! :)
I'm a little behind on posting.....Mya turned 1 on Wednesday and what's the best thing to celebrate your birthday with...A Cupcake! We've actually been celebrating her birthday since last Saturday so I'm sure she is thinking we should have cake or cupcakes everyday! :).jpg)
Can't believe that my baby girl Mya has turned 1! Where has the last year gone? Mya you are such a sweet and wonderful little girl, you melt our hearts with that big grin of yours. We love you with all our hearts and can't wait to watch you grow into a beautiful young lady.
We celebrated Mya's 1st Birthday this weekend with family and friends. Mya enjoyed getting new toys to play with, but her favorite thing was taking a big handful of icing out of the middle of her cake and eating it! :) The theme of the party was cupcakes and all the kids got to make their own cupcakes to take home with him. We had a great time and are very thankful for everyone that came and celebrated this day with her and thank you all for her wonderful gifts!

Macy and Ava enjoyed eating the sprinkles! We enjoyed a fun Halloween Party Saturday with friends and family. The night included a hayride, games, lots of great food and a haunted house.

My little sheepWe spent Sunday afternoon at the Pumpkin Patch. It was a perfect day! We had so much fun watching the girls ride the ponies, petting animals and picking out just the right pumpkin.
Macy decided she needed to ride the ponies again! I see her daddy buying her one in the near future! :)
