We left this morning on a 6:30am flight and we are now sitting in El Paso, TX waiting on the rest of the 15 members (who drove) of "Team Juarez" to arrive!!
It has been a long tiring day because most of us got little or no sleep from last minute packing. We will definitely be ready to get to the base where we are staying and get settled in and hopefully an early bedtime so we can start our mission tomorrow!!
10 days till we leave for our mission trip! Wow!!! I'm nervous, anxiousness about the unknown and excited all rolled together. But I know great things are going to come from this trip and I can't wait to share about this experience!
Our group has done 2 fundraisers and The Lord has blessed us greatly there!!
It will seem a little more real that this trip is fast approaching I'm headed to town shortly to start working on my supply list of things Macy & I will need while there! I'm such a procrastinator but this time not so much. I'm going to pull out the suitcases this weekend and start packing! Yay me!!
Exactly one month from today Macy and I will be headed to Juarez, Mexico with a group from our church (21 total)! I am more than excited to see what God is going to do in my heart when I get there!
God has put a burden in my heart for awhile now...I'm just having trouble stepping out of my comfort zone even though God has told me he will be there every step of the way!
I'm taking the first step out of my comfort zone and I know God's going to do great things and I get to share this adventure with my baby girl and plant a seed in her sweet little heart! ❤
Hello world of blogging!! It's been awhile and of course alot has gone on over the last year!! I have decided to start back blogging (hopefully I can keep up)!!
Macy and I will be going on a mission trip to Juarez, Mexico in a few months and we are beyond excited that God has opened this door for us!! We will be going with a group from our church and staying a week. Of course there's lots that goes on to prepare for a mission trip...one being financial support please pray that God provides the funds needed for us to be able to attend. Second is prayer support prayer is the fuel that will allow us to be successful as we follow God's leading in ministry in this country!
This is one of my favorite times of the year! I decided last year I wanted to start a holiday tradition with the girls so we took them to Silver Dollar City in Branson to enjoy the holiday festivities and of course see Santa! So again this year we enjoyed another weekend in Branson! This year we brought Nana and Papa to enjoy it with us! Here are a few pictures from our weekend....
This year for Halloween I took the girls trick or treating (Mya's first time and Macy's first time to actually know whats going on). They had a great time with friends and of course got waayyy too much candy!
Wow we have done alot in the last year...way too much to get caught up on! I just downloaded the snazzy app to blog on my phone so maybe that will help me to blog if there is still anyone out there that cares what's going on in our lives. I will do my best to do a post with pictures after our fun family weekend!!
Oh my goodness I have not blogged about our "life" since September 2010!! For anyone wondering (if there is anyone still out there) we are still kickn'....life is very hectic with a 2 & 3 yr. old. I have tons of pictures of things we have been doing....halloween, thanksgiving, sleepovers, christmas, snow, cruise, more snow, earthquakes (well no pics of that...) anyways I hope to get my blog caught up *maybe* this week! Hope everyone has a great week!!

When Macy was 1 1/2 this is how I found her after her nap....with her leg (and what a chunky leg it was might I add) stuck between the crib bars.
Well the other day this is how I found Mya (which she is nearly 2) after her nap...with her leg stuck between the crib bars.
Macy started going to Mother's Day Out this year and she absolutley LOVES it and so do I!! I'm able to get things accomplished with one kid in tow! Here is some pictures of her first day (I forgot to take the camera in to get pics in her classroom).
We were flattered when the bank we used for our construction loan on our house asked to use our family to be pictured in an ad for their bank. This is the picture they used. Just wished we had stained our front door before the picture, but FINALLY everyone is lookn' at the camera...very rare!
We enjoyed a little time away this summer in Branson. We enjoyed the Dixie Stampede, Ridin' the Ducks, watching the "big kids" (Shane, Hunter & Vinnie) ride go-carts, bumper boats and Silver Dollar City.
Macy was a little nervous when we went full throttle into the water! HA!
Mya loved it she keep tryn to stick her hand in the water!

Way back in July when it was nice and hot we celebrated Macy's 3rd birthday. She had lots of friends and family over and they enjoyed celebrating her birthday with a water party. It was soo hot that day I even took a few turns on the waterslide! ;)
We attended the wedding of niece Brandy in June. Macy and Mya were the perfect little flower girls!
