A little emergency

We had a small emergency today at the house......I put Macy down for her afternoon nap and was in the living room rocking Mya to sleep. I heard Macy crying a little but didn't think much about it. A little later she started hollering and still I didn't think much about it, I just thought she was trying to keep her self awake. After about 10 minutes I decided I would go check on her and take her some milk. Well when I walked in her room this is what I sawapparently she had threw her pacifier out of the bed and it landed on a Huggies box next to her bed and I guess she thought she could get it with her foot, but instead she ended up stuck. I couldn't get her chubby leg thru the bars. I called my mom and told her I needed help and she sent Papa over to the rescue!! It took a few minutes and I thought we were going to have to break the bars, but he finally got her leg loose.

We enjoyed the nice warmer weather that we had last Thursday!! I took Macy to Nana's so she could play outside with my nephew Cooper. One of their favorite things to do at Nana's (besides just being outside) is to go check on Uncle Blake's cows. Macy has now started making "mooing" sounds when we pull up at Nana's and when I let her out of the truck the first place she runs to is straight to the fence to holler at the cows!

An 18 month old and a cell phone

It's a crazy world when my 18 month old knows how to use (or acts like she knows) a cell phone! Macy has know decided to introduce the cell phone to her ~almost~ 3 month old little sister.

Macy had some friends (Kassie and Kinsley) come stay the night with her Friday night. Thanks girls for coming over. Macy had a great time and we'll have to do it again soon!

Macy likes to help me clean the house, so the other day I was getting ready to mop the floors and got sidetracked and when I came back in the room I caught Macy mopping my floors. Notice there is not a swiffer on the mop! ;) Shhh don't tell her!

Exploring new settings on my camera

Okay, so I've had my camera for exactly a year now and no I don't know how everything works on it. Basically I only know how to put it on auto and it sets everything for me. So while the girls were napping the other day I took advantage of the time and got out the user guide to my camera. Oh my word there is so much stuff in that little book it will take me a while to remember everything while I'm taking pictures. One setting that I did find is that I can take pictures in Black/White. I know this may not be a big deal to you but it is for me. Before I found this option I thought all I could do was load them into my computer and go to Photoshop and change the color to Black/White. Anyways, I'm excited that I found this setting and I've posted a few pictures that I took, some in color and some black/white. And yes as I find more wonderful settings on my camera I will post the pictures for you to enjoy! LOL! :)

I'm trying to figure out how I can make a cute header for my blog. I am wanting to be able to add more than just one picture and some cute sayings to it. The ones that I have seen on other blogs remind me of a scrapbook page. So if there is anyone that reads my blog and knows how to do this, please leave me a comment and let me know. Thanks! :)

New Years Eve

We rang in the New Year with some friends and family, actually Shane and I rang it in by ourselves, everyone that came over left around 10:30 (party poopers! j/k) We had a great time eating, visiting and some of us played a little guitar hero. New Year's Day me, Shane and the girls went to my mom and dad's and spent the day with family. We did some more eating (glad the holidays are over. I need to start my diet!) played cards and mexican dominoes most of the day. 2008 was a great year for our family and we are looking for another great year in 2009.
